Russell Poldrack is a Professor in the Stanford Department of Psychology and an affiliate of the Stanford Neuroscience Institute. He is a leader in the field of cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging methods.  His laboratory’s basic research focuses understanding the brain systems involved in decision making and self control. The laboratory has also developed a number of resources for data sharing and knowledge discovery, including OpenfMRI, the Cognitive Atlas, and Neurovault.
